Lily discovered pottery in 2013, and has since become obsessed with the medium of clay.  Her work is inspired by the forms and textures of nature, often incorporating imprints of real leaves and objects in the clay.  Lily also has a love for all living creatures, and often features frogs, bugs, snakes, and dragons in her work.

Lily has experimented with various firings, including soda firing, raku firing, horsehair raku, obvara, naked raku and saggar firing, and various techniques, including mocha diffusion, sgraffito, sodium silicate, bubble glazing, stamping, piercing and carving.  She experiments with functional as well as sculptural pottery, but never settles for anything ordinary.
